A (really) mini-review + swatches!
Hi PD~ I increased my collection of all the neutrals with this product, theBalm’s Nude ‘tude Eyeshadow Palette (this purchase was completely Arabelle’s fault she is a wonderfully horrible enabler). I purchased because it was on sale as a Groupon good, and when Arabelle linked it to me, there was a one time five dollar coupon for any Groupon deal - it was $16 dollars shipped, and I got it in four business days. o_O Good deal since it retails for $36.
I have always wanted some of theBalm’s shadows because of their buttery and silky feel, which this palette definitely contains. And well, it’s neutral and I am me so obviously I needed to purchase. These are really buttery shadows that are a dream to blend, especially some of the darker colors. One of the only negative things I can think is the fact that some of the lighter colors (I’m looking at you, Snobby and Stand-offish) were a tad too soft, so when I went to use it for the first time, the glitters from the colors exploded everywhere. In addition, I had a couple issues with fallout with Stubborn. The brush…is eh. I mean the liner side works nice I guess if you like a larger angled liner brush to apply eyeliner but nothing too spectacular.
It’s a great palette, and if more theBalm palettes appear on Groupon (or at my local Tjmaxx - no seriously check there from time to time, there’s always quite a bit of theBalm products at my local store), I am definitely going to get more. I really like the formula of these shadows, and the pigmentation is great.
Is it a replacement for Urban Decay’s Naked 1 or 2 palette? …well, no. No it’s not. (I only own the Naked 1 palette.) However, if you’re looking for a palette that features more matte shades including a deep burgundy (my favorite shade in this palette - Sexy is truly sexy), I recommend checking this one out. The quality is overall good and the price point is decent as well, even though the pans are smaller than the Naked palettes (0.032 oz vs. 0.05 oz).

Egg muffins
Decided to make egg muffins for my pre workout snack. Half of cooked chicken breast, red pepper, mushrooms, grated parmesan cheese and eggs. And 16 pretty looking muffins are done. According to my calculations (or to be exact, sparkpeople calculations), one muffin is 80 kcal. Awesome. You can find the recipe here.
P.S. yes, one muffin is missing in the silicone pan, because it was tinier than his eggy brothers so I had to save him from burning. (it was yummy!)

I made very similar mini quiches with the pastry the other day and it was pretty tasty.

I’m just fed up with everything that’s been going through my mind;
I wish every part of my mind and body would just connect with each other, I am just fed up with everything in my life, and i just want to be alone. I already learned from the passed u can never claim anybody as your best friend and recently, i learned that you can’t even trust your own partner for being faithful, for being there when you need him the most, I’ve learned that you can’t depend on someone for happiness and you’re really on your own. I feel like giving up and nobody really cares, and i don’t have anyone. i feel like all of the decisions I’ve made in my life just completely fucked up my life. I’m just overwhelmed with everything.
Think about the person you love. Picture the person you love, loving someone else. Hurts, doesn’t it? Well, if you fail to make this person happy, then it’s bound to happen. Don’t let them slip out of your hands because someone else is definitely capable of making this person a lot happier, only if you allow them to.
